Burgh Island Hotel This authentic art deco hotel was built 1929-1932 and is run with period style. The Pilchard Inn on Burgh Island An old smugglers pub. Possible the oldest pub in South Devon. (1336) For total experience you can use the sea tractor to take you home or stroll across the beach. A magical place.The Oyster Shack (Aveton Gifford) Eat local oysters and fish in tranquil al fresco situation. Bring your own wine and contemplate the wonders. Open most days only all year round. Reservations are a must. The Seven Stars (Kingsbridge) Pleasant unpretenious restuarant in the beautiful modern setting. Very good for Sunday lunch. Rumours Wine Bar (Totnes)A truly remarkable venue. An English café bar and restaurant.
